My name is Shawnie Rutherford.
I'm a portrait photographer, living in Elkhart, IN. I specialize in family photography, portrait, and lifestyle. This includes everything from newborns to weddings. I prefer working in natural light settings, however, I do offer in studio options and have mobile lighting to enhance images in your home, for a more personal setting.
I am blessed by a large blended family. I have 9 children and 6 grandchildren so far! So, understanding the workings of families and their needs is especially important to me.

Everyone has a vision for their photography session. It is my job to make that vision come to life. I welcome your input, thoughts, and opinions on all aspects of our time together, from the booking process to the final product. YOU should be the MAIN FOCUS of YOUR session.
In a world where everyone has a camera on them at all times many people wonder why a professional session is beneficial. However, images taken on our phones degrade over time, each time we edit, share, screen shot, post, or move an image the quality decreases. Printing your images and saving original high resolution images is the only way to properly preserve them.
